Apatite is all about progress and resolution. When you are faced with obstacles that seem impossible to overcome, Apatite is the stone to reach for. The first thing this gemstone does is allow you to see your stumbling blocks with clear eyes. Sometimes when you step back and re-evaluate, a solution becomes apparent. But Apatite's benefits do not end there. It also boosts self-confidence, resilience, and motivation, so when push comes to shove, you feel ready to tackle anything.
When placed under your pillow, Apatite is said to reveal your future in dreams. It can also facilitate lucid dreaming and astral travel.
Apatite has a reputation for aiding with a host of physical problems, from allergies, to poor eye sight, to obesity.
With regular practice, Apatite can dispel negative thoughts, and bring about a sense of calm reflection. It is an especially good stone to use in conjunction with meditation, to develop inner peace. It is also said to augment creativity and curiosity.
You are purchasing a set of three tumbled Apatite gemstones. Stones will vary in size and shape, but most are in the range of 1/2" to 1".
How should I use my gemstones?
Keep them close by, in your pocket, or in a small dish at your work space. Handle them often, as you focus on your needs and wishes. Sleep with them under your pillow. Place them on your altar. Whisper your wishes to them when no one else can hear you. The only thing we do NOT recommend doing is using your gemstones to infuse water that you will be drinking.
How can I cleanse my gemstones?
Over time, gemstones can pick up negative energies as they are used. Many different methods can be employed to cleanse your stones. Bury them in a small container of salt for a few days. Hold them in running water (this is not recommended for soft gemstones like selenite or jet). Let them sit overnight in the light from a full moon. Place them where a fresh breeze can pass over them. What other methods can you think of?
Quote of the moment: "There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!" - Terry Pratchett, The Truth
