A flaming Christmas pudding may be traditional English fare, but the aid of a willing dragon to set it ablaze is certainly new and different! Anyone who loves dragons and their ilk will delight in this whimsical Christmas card.
Open the Flaming Dragon Pudding Yule Card, and you'll find more fanciful holiday art— a delicate Christmas fairy surrounded by holiday greetings in several languages. The facing page reads, "With Blessings of the Season". Add your own message if you wish. Then slip the Christmas card into the coordinating envelope, and send it on its way. These earth-friendly cards are printed on recycled paper using vegetable oil based inks. Cards are sold individually, wrapped in protective cellophane. They measure 6 3/4" by 4 3/4". Why is the dragon setting fire to the pudding? "Figgy puddings" are traditional English fare around the holidays. Often, before they are served, they are doused with alcoholic spirits and set aflame. This little dragon is actually doing his best to help out!
Who is the artist? This card is based on a work by the fantasy artist Briar. Briar's works are often inspired by mythology, magic, and the ancient ways.
