"Heed the flower, bush and tree, by the Lady, blessed you'll be." This is a line taken from the Wiccan Rede, a beautiful poem speaking of treating nature with respect, and receiving the Goddess' blessings in return. The earth-tone colors, and border of flowering vines, are the perfect compliment to this pagan/wiccan cross stitch design.
The "Heed the Flower" Cross Stitch Pattern measures 132 stitches wide by 69 stitches high, and calls for 3 colors of floss. This is a simple project that can be completed quickly and easily, no matter what your experience level. It is printed on a single sheet of cardstock. The front has a color photo of the finished design. The back has a large easy to read graph in black and white symbols with stitch count and DMC symbol and color information.
This is a pattern for counted cross stitch. It is not a complete kit. You will need to supply your own fabric and floss. We are not able to offer digital downloads of our patterns at this time.
How much fabric do I need?
To calculate the amount of fabric you will need for your project, divide the number of stitches by the stitch count of the fabric you wish to use. The higher the count of your fabric, the smaller your piece will be. Some examples appear below. Remember to leave several additional inches as a border on each side, to facilitate framing your project when it is finished.
