Any item purchased from us may be returned for a refund or exchange, provided you return it within 30 days in its original condition. Important! When you return an item, please pack it in a box or padded envelope. Postal equipment frequently tears small items right out of regular envelopes, and we cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us safely.
With its gnarled branches and roots, this ghostly tree seems as ancient as the earth itself. The intricate Celtic knots that support the tree and frame its branches, simply add to the aura of mystery that surrounds it. Like a window into an earlier age, the landscape behind the great tree shows us a peaceful meadow beneath a midnight sky, with tall stones standing as sentinels.
The Celtic Roots Cross Stitch Pattern is based on artwork by John Ross MacKimmie. The design measures 525 stitches wide by 630 stitches high. The cross stitch pattern spans 49 pages, and is printed double-sided, on unbound sheets in a clear plastic bag for protection. There is a color picture of the completed chart on the front page. The pattern itself is graphed in black and white symbols, and a table showing the DMC colors you'll need is included. This is a massive project that will provide you with many hours of enjoyment. How much fabric do I need?
To calculate the amount of fabric you will need for your project, divide the number of stitches by the stitch count of the fabric you wish to use. The higher the count of your fabric, the smaller your piece will be. Some examples appear below. Remember to leave several additional inches as a border on each side, to facilitate framing your project when it is finished.
