This chart pack includes fifteen adorable little dragon patterns, each representing various virtues, such as "Peace", "Love", and "Strength". The "Freedom" pattern even has a variation, so you can choose whether to stitch the "knight" version, or the "princess" version. There are also sun, moon, and star filler blocks, as well as a chart for numbers and letters so you can personalize your project. The beauty of this pattern is that it can be adapted to so many different projects-- everything from afghans to wall art to Christmas tree ornaments. Your only limit is your imagination.
Each individual block of the Dragon Virtues pattern fits within a 47 stitch by 57 stitch area. You choose how you'll put them together. It is printed on unbound pages, with a color picture of the completed design on the cover. The chart is graphed in black and white symbols. A table showing the DMC colors you'll need is included. The pattern is printed over 2 pages in the center, so there is no need to match page edges. These dragon letters and numbers cross stitch designs were created by Jennifer L. Aikman-Smith, of Dragon Dreams.
How much fabric do I need?
To calculate the amount of fabric you will need for your project, divide the number of stitches by the stitch count of the fabric you wish to use. The higher the count of your fabric, the smaller your piece will be. Some examples appear below. Remember to leave several additional inches as a border on each side, to facilitate framing your project when it is finished.
