When you want to put a little witchin' in your stitchin', there's no better pattern than this one to work from. Not only does it have the classic crescent-full-crescent triple moon motif, it also features a less familiar one, known as the "witch's claw" as the centerpiece of the design, with a trio of interlocking crescent moons. In a "witch's claw" symbol, the three crescent moons nestle tightly together, representing the strength of friendship and cooperation, while their horns point outward, creating a strong protective force.

This wonderfully witchy cross stitch pattern measures 90 stitches wide by 80 stitches high, and requires only three colors of floss. Be sure to use a background fabric that will let all the colors be clearly seen! This is an easy design to follow, even for inexperienced stitchers. It is printed on a single sheet of cardstock. The front has a color photo of the finished design. The back has a large easy to read graph in black and white symbols with stitch count and DMC symbol and color information.

This is a pattern for counted cross stitch. It is not a complete kit. You will need to supply your own fabric and floss. We are not able to offer digital downloads of our patterns at this time.

How much fabric do I need?
To calculate the amount of fabric you will need for your project, divide the number of stitches by the stitch count of the fabric you wish to use. The higher the count of your fabric, the smaller your piece will be. Some examples appear below. Remember to leave several additional inches as a border on each side, to facilitate framing your project when it is finished.
