This is the last of this marvelous red/gold striped fabric, and I'm so sad. I had just enough left to make this Viking style cloak. I love this fabric not just for its color, but also for its weight and drape. It just feels so good when you wear it.
A Viking-style cloak is as simple as it gets. It is nothing more than a large rectangle of fabric that uses a pin or brooch to give it its shape. You can fasten it in the front, or over one shoulder to leave your sword arm free. It comes with a small Viking-style brooch, although you may want to swap it out for one that is more substantial, or use a hidden safety pin on the back side for additional strength.
The fabric in this cloak is a lovely antique gold with a rich burgundy red. The dimensions are 50" by 74".
