Venerated by Christians and pagans alike, the goddess/saint Brighid is associated with many aspects of Irish life, including fire, poetry, magic, healing, smithcraft, and more. Below the cross of Saint Brighid, the text reads: "Mighty Brighid, keeper of the flame, blazing in the darkness of winter. O Brighid, bringer of the light, healer, exalted one. Bless us now hearth mother, that we may be as fruitful as the soil itself, and our lives abundant and fertile."
The Brighid's Blessing Cross Stitch Pattern measures 150 stitches wide by 314 stitches high. The cross stitch pattern spans 14 pages, and is printed single-sided, on unbound sheets in a clear plastic bag for protection. There is a color picture of the completed chart on the front page. The pattern itself is graphed in black and white symbols, and a table showing the DMC colors you'll need is included.
