The marvelous artwork for this leather journal continues all along the spine, and onto the back of the journal as well.
The Creekbed Maple Leather Journal is secured by a thong wrapped around a pewter button, which repeats the maple leaf motif.
This leather tree journal comes in two sizes, and is refillable. The large size measures 6" by 9", and takes a 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" refill. The smaller size is 5" x 6 7/8", and requires a 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" refill. The refills are standard sized blank books that we sell, or you can find locally at most art supply stores.

The blank book insert that comes with this journal has unlined pages. However, the journal also has a lined "cheat sheet" that you can place behind the page you are working on, which will help you keep your writing straight and even. Pretty clever, huh?
